2009: The ladies still doing their post-game dance.
The only question surrounding the 2009 Rose Bowl, for us, was whether the legendary USC Song Girl photographer could duplicate his (our guess) awesome shot of the ladies circa 2007.
Unless he’s holding back on us, it doesn’t seem dude had the same sideline access as two years ago.
All we get is the above shot and a look back at one of the best Song Girl photos ever taken.

Our researchers haven’t been able to nail down the story behind this tradition of the band and Song Girls getting on their backs and putting their legs into the air.
Not that we’re complaining.
It’s just strange and so, so wrong.

They did do that routine at the 2009 Rose Bowl. It’s a part of the dance routine the Song Girls do to the Animal House theme. And that USC photographer is the assistant Band Director…pervy.
